Camera Ready

The camera-ready submission of the final version of your paper, revised according to the reviewers' comments, consists of four simple steps:

1. Prepare the final version of your paper.
2. IEEE style check: upload and approve your paper on IEEE PDF eXpress. The system will create an IEEE-compliant pdf file of your paper.
3. Upload the file obtained from step 2 to the DFTS easychair website.
4. Copyright transmission.

Please see below for details on each step. In case of changes to the camera-ready version after submission, steps 2 and 3 must be repeated. The deadline is , .

Format guidelines

All papers must conform to the IEEE Formatting Guidelines to be published in the electronic conference proceedings and the IEEE Xplore. Submissions must be in PDF format.

All papers should be formatted as A4 or letter, two-columns, single spaced, Times or equivalent font of minimum 10pt. The page limit for long (regular) and special session papers is 6 pages, and for short (formerly poster) papers is 4 pages (references included). Additional pages have a fee of 100 € per page. A maximum of two additional pages is possible.

Make sure you are using the correct IEEE style file: the title should be typeset in 24pt font, and the body of the paper should be typeset in 10pt font. Use either the MS Word template or the LaTeX class (available here). We strongly encourage the use of LaTeX for the preparation of the paper, please use:

Finally, follow the following instructions.

• Do not add page numbers
• All fonts have to be embedded
• Do not use bookmarks and links in the pdf

Copyright clearance

Before you prepare your final pdf document, it is required that all papers submitted to IEEE publications include a copyright clearance code at the bottom of the first page of each paper. The proper notice depends on the country of residence of the authors and is as follows:

• For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
• For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1489-1/25/$31.00 ©2025 Crown
• For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1489-1/25/$31.00 ©2025 European Union
• For all other papers, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-1489-1/25/$31.00 ©2025 IEEE

by adding the following commands just after the \begin{document} line: For LaTeX users, note that the \IEEEpubid tag is deactivated by default in the IEEE-conf.tex file when it is of type conference. This can be overwritten to allow you to add the copyright clearance code by adding the following commands just after the \begin{document} line:

The example above is for the fourth category of papers, i.e., all other papers, which applies to most authors. If you experience problems with the above LaTex instructions when using bibtex, and if you are using \usepackage{fixltx2e}, then please remove the \usepackage{fixltx2e}.

Add the copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document.

IEEE style check

Before you submit your camera ready for the accepted papers, you must use IEEE PDF eXpress to verify the IEEE Xplore compatibility. The specific conference ID is listed below. Note that IEEE PDF eXpress can also be used to create the PDF file from your LaTeX source files, such that the PDF file is automatically IEEE Xplore-compatible. If your camera-ready version is incompatible with IEEE Xplore, your paper will not be included in the conference proceedings. The detailed instructions for using IEEE PDF eXpress are as follows:

1. Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site at: https://ieee-pdf-express.org by using conference ID 66274X.
2. Create a new account if you are a first time user.
3. For each conference paper, click "Create New Title".
4. Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required).
5. Click "Submit PDF for Checking" or "Submit Source Files for Conversion".
6. Indicate platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse and navigate to file, and click "Upload File". You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload.
7. You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress Plus-converted PDF. When you submit a PDF for checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed.
8. Once the paper has been checked/converted (you will be notified by email), please click on the “Approve” link. Be careful: without clicking the “Approve” link, the Publication Co-Chairs will not receive your PDF file needed for the next step.

Any changes made to a PDF after IEEE PDF eXpress Plus conversion or PDF checking may invalidate Xplore compatibility and run the risk of being excluded from publication on IEEE Xplore.

Upload to easychair

The file obtained from the last step must be uploaded to the DFTS 25 Easychair website: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dfts-25

Copyright transmission

Please complete the form available at the following link to allow the publication chair to send you the Copyright Form to sign: https://forms.gle/tirnFJFYzd7wojh27

Each author will receive an email with a link to the online Copyright Form wizard and a unique login name and password to access their copyright forms. When an author completes the online copyright transfer process and submits the form, he/she will receive an automated confirmation email letting him/her know that the transfer has been completed successfully.
